Gottwald GmbH & Co KG uses artificial intelligence to support selected business processes, in order to continuously improve quality, efficiency, service and innovation.
AI is used only in compliance with the applicable legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.

3. Data protection and information security
AI systems are used with appropriate technical, organisational and contractual measures to protect the information processed.
Personal data is processed solely on the basis of the applicable legal provisions.
Information security, data protection, confidentiality and data integrity are given high priority when AI systems are used.
4. Confidential information and company data
Confidential information, trade secrets and personal data are handled according to how much protection they need.
Before information is processed in AI systems, we check whether the use in question is compatible with the applicable legal, contractual and organisational requirements.
5. Human responsibility and quality assurance
AI systems support employees in carrying out their tasks, but they do not replace professional review or business responsibility.
Results from AI systems are checked and assessed appropriately before they are used.
Decisions of legal, technical, economic or safety-related significance are not taken solely on the basis of AI output.
Responsibility for decisions always remains with the people responsible within the organisation.
