As a family-owned business with over 300 employees we support projects from planning through to on-time implementation and maintenance. From our headquarters in Melk as well as our locations in Parndorf and Ramsau am Dachstein, we deliver modern solutions – from electrical installation and project management to renewable energy such as photovoltaics.

History
Founded under difficult conditions
Under the name “Elektro Hürm” the company known today as “Gottwald GmbH & Co KG” was founded. The start was anything but rosy: the owners did not have a schilling to their name and had taken out a loan at 14.5% interest. The shop in Hürm had neither heating nor running water. An old chest freezer served as the office desk, and an upright freezer took the place of the filing cabinet.
