One thing we can promise you: the pay is worth having. You will find the exact apprentice income under the trade itself, on the page „Electrical engineering apprenticeship“.
Yes. Everyone's education takes a different route. In certain cases a shorter or longer apprenticeship is possible. We look at your particular situation together and find the right way forward for you.
No. Your apprenticeship begins with our welcome week. You get to know the company, the other apprentices and the most important routines before you set foot on your first site. The apprenticeship normally runs for four years — because alongside the main module you choose a specialist module.
The main part of your training is installation work, where you are out with experienced colleagues in the workshop and on site. In between you attend vocational school in blocks, and our own training workshop at our headquarters in Melk.
Yes — we have an apprentice officer who is with you from day one to your final examination. You are never left on your own.
With our in-house training workshop we can take training to the next level and train you even better. There you have the opportunity to build specifically on what you have already learned, improve your practical skills further, practise procedures and try out new techniques. You can find more information on the page “Training workshop”.
Working hours vary with the site you are on. During vocational school weeks, school hours apply.
Vocational school is taught in blocks of ten weeks per year of the apprenticeship, at the Landesberufsschule Stockerau. You get the details and the term dates from the apprentice officer in good time before each block.
