Ten new apprentices for the profession of electrical engineer began their training at Gottwald this August.
In their training as electrical engineers specialising in building management technology, our apprentices work in a wide variety of areas on industrial, commercial and private sites both large and small. They are busy installing, fitting, servicing and repairing all kinds of electrical and electronic devices and systems in the fields of high and low voltage, safety technology and instrumentation and control technology (I&C). In this way our apprentices get to know as many areas as possible over the course of their training.
On Wednesday, 14 August we invited our apprentices to a welcome day at head office. Under the guidance of our apprenticeship officer Stephanie Goldfuß, the newcomers got to know one another. They were given an insight into the history of Gottwald and were made aware by occupational physician Dr Cremer of the health risks and hazards on building sites. The last item on the agenda was a tour of the company head office. The exciting and informative welcome day ended with a meal together. We are looking forward to welcoming further apprentices in the autumn.
We give our new apprentices a warm welcome to the team and wish them a successful apprenticeship!
