12 new apprentices at Gottwald

|2 min read

In August 12 new apprentices started their training as electrical technicians at Gottwald.

During their training as electrical technicians specialising in building management systems, Gottwald's apprentices work in a wide variety of areas on large and small industrial, commercial and private sites. They busily fit, install, service and repair all kinds of electrical and electronic devices and systems in the fields of power and extra-low-voltage engineering, security technology and instrumentation and control. In this way all 50 apprentices at Gottwald get to know as many areas as possible during their training.

In the first week of September there was, for the first time this year, an apprentice welcome week at the headquarters in Melk. Under the direction of apprenticeship officer Stephanie Goldfuß, the newcomers got to know each other. They gained an insight into Gottwald's history and were made aware by occupational physician Dr Bacher of the health risks and hazards on site.

Thomas Grossinger (technical director), Martin Hofer (safety representative) and Bernd Eßbüchl (warehouse manager) trained the new apprentices in the correct use of a wide range of tools. The young people then applied their knowledge straight away and got a taste of practice, busily cutting, drilling and screwing.

Gottwald warmly welcomes the new apprentices to the team and wishes them a successful apprenticeship!
