At E-nnovation – the Austrian trade fair for energy, electrical, lighting and building services technology – we received the E-nnovation Awards for outstanding commitment to apprentice training. Over three days the fair drew 200 exhibitors from ten countries and around 8,000 visitors – and in that setting we were able to take home two awards at once. We were honoured as the most innovative and best training company in Austria, and our employee Florian Steffek was recognised for his outstanding achievements as an apprentice in electrical engineering.
Investing in tomorrow's skilled workers
Training qualified skilled workers matters a great deal to us. We take on up to 15 apprentices every year and prepare them specifically for the demands of electrical engineering. Our own in-house training workshop plays a central role, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, working on development areas and shaping team spirit. It makes the start of installation work in the first year easier for apprentices and instructors alike. With the training workshop in-house, we have the passing on of knowledge in our own hands.
The award in the category best training company underlines how important quality-focused apprentice training is, and confirms our commitment.
Recognition for Florian Steffek
Alongside the company award, Florian Steffek was honoured for his commitment and technical expertise, which make him an important part of our company and a role model for young people in the industry. Back in 2023 he proved his ability at EuroSkills, crowning himself European runner-up. Now he has become a trainer for this year's EuroSkills himself and is supporting Austria's young hopeful in their preparation.
Electrical engineering in transition
Well-trained skilled workers are an essential condition for the further development of the electrical engineering industry. The double award at the E-nnovation Awards shows how relevant practical, high-quality training is, and how much committed employees matter to a company's long-term success.
