On Friday 17 May 2019 almost 20 of our fitters headed for the Wachauring in Melk, where they could really put their foot down at the very first Gottwald fitters' go-kart day.
In fine weather the qualifying session started and everyone tried to set the fastest lap. Then came the races, split into two groups. With enormous enjoyment one best time after another was set and the contest for the top places began.
Here are the results:
FINAL
1st place: WOLF Nico
2nd place: KERN Thomas
3rd place: FÜRLINGER Erich
FASTEST LAP
WOLF Nico: 58.467
After the go-karting came lunch together with the management and all the fitters who took part, at the restaurant of the ÖAMTC Wachauring. The winners were presented with trophies at the prize-giving.
Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to the management for a great event!
