Our apprentice Florian Steffek made us very proud. He took a sensational 1st place at High Tec Apprentice 2019 and is therefore the best in Lower Austria. We celebrated this success in style on Friday 26 April.
Florian came out on top at the apprentice competition at the WIFI in St. Pölten and took 1st place in electrical installation technology. Thanks to his win, the company was also named best training company in Lower Austria 2019 – the third time since 2016. You can read more details about the award ceremony in our report of 5 April 2019 in the article Metallica 2019.
Because of this fine achievement, around 70 employees and representatives of Hilti Austria Ges.m.b.H. gathered at the headquarters and congratulated the proud winner. As a special thank-you, the whole management presented Florian Steffek with a cheque for €1,000 as a bonus for his success.
Managing director Dr Martin Gutternigg and representative Andreas Schießl of Hilti Austria Ges.m.b.H. also offered their congratulations and presented him with a generous tool set. Gottwald's employees raised a glass of sparkling wine with Florian to his success.
