Easter Monday, 10 April 2023: this year again we took part in the traditional Melk Easter Run. The weather was especially kind to us and in brilliant sunshine, with spring in the air, we achieved excellent results.
The children's race started at 1 p.m. Once again Felix Gottwald made a strong start as the youngest member of the team. He improved on last year by almost a full minute! Lining up for the 7.2 km town race was Jürgen Gottwald , who covered the distance almost 3 minutes faster than the year before and so took 14th place in the M40 age group.
Shortly after the town race came the prestigious relay race, in which Gottwald acts as main sponsor every year. A total of 42 relay teams started. We were able to defend both of last year's second places and stood on the podium with the teams Gottwald Pro (Mario Will) and Gottwald Damen (Johanna Schrittwieser, Martina Obruca).
