The annual company ski day took 21 snow-hungry Gottwald colleagues to the Hochkar – with skis, snowboards and a large helping of anticipation. On Saturday 15 March 2025, we set off early in the morning for Göstling an der Ybbs and so towards the Hochkar and a day of skiing and good food.
The start in Melk was rather damp than cheerful – rain! But real winter sports enthusiasts are not put off by a few drops. Barely had we arrived at the Hochkar than the weather turned kinder: it was cloudy, but at least the sun broke through now and then. And most important of all: there was plenty of snow!
With energy and a healthy mix of sporting ambition and culinary stamina, the slopes were conquered – and the mountain huts too, of course! For what is a day of skiing and good food without the pleasurable stops along the way? Whether a tasty local speciality or a well-earned glass of wine après-ski – the Gottwald team enjoyed itself.
A successful day that proved once again: whether sunshine, fog or snowfall – on the company ski day what counts above all is good spirits. We are already looking forward to next year! ⛷️❄️🍻
