As part of an excursion, our Gottwald apprentices visited the Hilti head office in Vienna and the warehouse and repair workshop in Leopoldsdorf on Friday, 21 February 2020.
Our group was received by Dr Manfred Gutternig, managing director of Hilti Austria GmbH. Mr Gutternig gave fascinating insights into the company’s almost 80-year history. Two expert technicians provided the interested audience with theoretical input on anchor technology. In the training room of the Hilti head office our Gottwald team were able to use the various anchors and concrete screws and received valuable tips and tricks for correct application.
After a hearty lunch the bus took us on to Leopoldsdorf. In the service workshop the exact repair procedures and the high service standards that Hilti promises were explained to us. Our last stop that day was the Hilti warehouse, where we were able to take a look at the excellently structured warehouse logistics – from incoming orders to outgoing goods.
