At this year's AustrianSkills, the Austrian national vocational skills championships, our electrical technician 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗸 was named 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮. Our electrical technician 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿 also competed and achieved a solid 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲.
In 32 trades – from plant electrician to carpenter – around 200 of Austria's best skilled workers (apprenticeship, technical college and university of applied sciences graduates) competed against their peers for a ticket to the international vocational competitions WorldSkills Shanghai 2022 and EuroSkills Gdansk 2023.
The task was to complete a demanding project over three days of competition and to solve the set tasks – pitched at the level of the international competitions – as well as possible.
Warm congratulations to them both!
