On Friday 24 May 2024 some 19 Gottwald colleagues sent the yellow felt ball flying busily over the net. That afternoon saw the second Gottwald padel tennis tournament.
The format was chosen so that teams were drawn afresh again and again, making it a sporting way to get to know one another. From Gottwald youngsters to old hands, from seasoned players to complete beginners – everyone was there. An event that met with nothing but a positive response and is definitely crying out to be repeated.
The top-placed teams
Winners: Bernd Gottwald and Philipp Kager
Runners-up: Jonas Thier and Lukas Weinerer
Third place: Patrick Erber and Daniel Grubner
Gottwald would once again like to thank UTC Melk – with whom we have enjoyed a long-standing partnership – for their support. They let us use
their grounds for this entertaining afternoon.
