Grafenegg Kulturbetriebsgesellschaft m. b. H. is committed to sustainability and has equipped the Auditorium with a photovoltaic system. Thanks to funding of €90,000 from Austria’s Klima- und Energiefonds (Climate and Energy Fund), the cultural venue will in future be able to cover part of its energy needs itself. Installation began at the start of April 2024.
Our task was the implementation of the PV system, from planning and installation through to final commissioning. We made sure that the system operates efficiently and makes a long-term contribution to a sustainable energy supply. The project shows how modern cultural operations and environmental protection can go hand in hand, which is why it received funding from the Klima- und Energiefonds.
With the new PV system, Grafenegg is taking a further step towards becoming a climate-friendly venue and continues to live up to its certification as a “Green Location”.
