The “Informatikum” of the FH Burgenland opened in Eisenstadt in April 2022 as a unique centre of expertise for digitalisation. There, 30 staff work across around 650 square metres on projects around the Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and the energy systems of the future.
The atrium deserves a special mention. It was built as an open air space, and the sawtooth roof is set off with up- and down-lighting channels.
