Office buildings, All, Public buildings
Vienna’s sewer network is a key factor in keeping daily life in the federal capital running smoothly. Every day, half a billion litres of waste water travel through the roughly 2,500 kilometres of sewers to the treatment plant in Simmering.
The headquarters of Wien Kanal was rebuilt to modern standards. Spread over three floors, an archive and plant room, a waste room and offices all help operations run without a hitch. The outdoor areas are being redesigned as well.
The new headquarters also uses the waste water as a source of energy, heating and cooling the building through energy recovery.
Our team was responsible for the electrical installation both inside and outside.
