With the conversion and extension of its town hall, the municipality of Traiskirchen is preparing for the decades ahead, making its administration future-ready and bringing it up to the current state of the art.
In building the extension, the inner courtyard was to be created with ecological considerations in mind.
The existing Traiskirchen Town Hall was given an extension with office space, and several rooms in the existing building were converted. The extension, comprising an upper floor and an attic floor, stands on steel columns and is designed to roof over the inner courtyard. It now houses several offices, a meeting room, corridors, a kitchenette, an archive and a terrace. In the existing building, the cashier’s area, the staff facilities and the IT rooms were refurbished.
Gottwald was involved in the construction work mainly through the power and low-current installations.
