Urban living surrounded by greenery, vibrant and colourful – Viertel Zwei is an office & residential quarter in Vienna’s 2nd district, Leopoldstadt. The quarter is a meeting place for everyone who wants to take a walk in the woods or stroll along an endless tree-lined avenue right on their doorstep, who enjoy being out in the fresh air, going for a bike ride or simply looking out at the greenery from their terrace.
In the middle of Viertel Zwei, next to the Krieau trotting track, stand three listed spectator grandstands, which have fallen further and further into disrepair over the years and are now in a very poor condition.
At last, a way has been found to breathe new life into grandstands 2 and 3. They are now being converted into office buildings. With a modern, timeless concept and careful refurbishment work, the old buildings are being renovated. The revitalisation project is already nearing completion. Our team was responsible for the electrical work.
