The FJ Gritsch winery has built a generous extension in and around the historic Mauritiushof, a successful combination of well-tended tradition and stylish modernity.
The wine experience at the Mauritiushof offers far more than simple sales from the estate and a comfortable room for tasting wine. It houses a comprehensive world of wine enjoyment: tasting rooms, a tasting and exhibition cellar, an event room, a versatile kitchen to accompany the wine with food, facilities for private tastings and cookery courses, and three tastefully appointed holiday apartments.
Looking east, guests enjoy a view of one of Austria’s most famous vineyards, the Ried Singerriedel. The terraces and balconies of the holiday apartments are therefore an ideal place to watch breathtaking sunrises. The overall concept is rounded off by the comfort of the estate’s own underground car park.
