What should my application contain?
Ideally a CV, a covering letter and any relevant references. For a first approach, though, the required fields in the form are enough — the rest can follow later.
Can I send in documents later?
Yes. You can start by filling in just the required fields and uploading your CV, and then send further documents by email to bewerbung@gottwald.at – ideally stating the position you applied for.
How large may uploads be?
Up to 15 MB per file. Several files can be uploaded in total. Recommended formats: PDF, DOCX, JPG, PNG.
How long will it take to hear back?
We normally get back to you within a few working days — by email or by phone. When we receive a lot of applications it can take a little longer, but you will always hear from us.
What does the application process look like?
Five steps: application → review of your documents and first response → a phone call → interview → decision. You will find the details in the timeline at the top of this page.
Where does the interview take place?
Usually at one of our sites (Melk or Parndorf) — depending on the position. If it suits better, a first conversation over Teams is also possible.
Is there a taster day?
Yes, for apprentices we are happy to arrange a taster day so you can experience the company first hand. Just ask us. A trial period through the employment service can also be arranged at any time, where possible.
Who can I turn to with questions?
Our HR department handles everything to do with applications — the easiest way to reach us is at bewerbung@gottwald.at or by phone through the switchboard on +43 2752 52000.
