From 6 to 8 June 2019 the big celebration of the company's 40th anniversary took place at the Gottwald Elektro & Teletechnik store.
At 11 a.m. on Thursday, Bernd Gottwald started the anniversary festivities. He welcomed customers with proud words: “Hard to believe, but Gottwald is 40 years old. A venture that people smiled at back then has now reached 40. A warm welcome to the 40th anniversary celebration of Elektro Gottwald!” The guests of honour were then welcomed: mayor Patrick Strobl, town councillor Ute Reisinger, chamber of commerce chairman Franz Eckl, chamber of commerce district manager Dr Andreas Nunzer, Raiffeisen representatives Dir. Ing. Kurt Moser and Prok. Mag. Harald Schaider, and representatives of our partners Miele and Bosch.
Senior owner Rudolf Gottwald was not to be left out either and, in his speech, gave an insight into the early days: “It was not easy, of course. My wife was in hospital, our eldest son Jürgen had just been born and we decided to found a company. Take your fate into your own hands and shape your own life – that was our idea. All the more grateful are we for how things have developed over the past 40 years.” The anniversary cake was then cut and the celebration was officially open.
During the three days of the anniversary, visitors made use of the MIELE and JURA coffee tastings in the lounge area and the chance to find out about the latest products. The show kitchen with product demonstrations of the BOSCH and MIELE steam ovens and ovens was followed with great interest. In brilliant sunshine and summery temperatures all customers could enjoy Sdraule's barbecue specialities and refreshing drinks at the wine and beer bar.
At 11 a.m. on Saturday came the crowning finale: the draw for the anniversary prize competition. The winners were delighted with many fine prizes, such as a MIELE washing machine, a BOSCH dishwasher, a LIEBHERR fridge in Gottwald design and much more.
1st prize: Gerhard Kloihofer
2nd prize: Theresia Fuchsbauer
3rd prize: Valerie Oberndorfer
We thank all our customers for their years of loyalty!
