In autumn sunshine our Gottwald employees walked together from Bacharnsdorf to Aggsbach Dorf.
A small but select group of 11 employees set off early in the morning from Bacharnsdorf, where the party had finished its tour in 2018. Motivated, they set out on the 22 km route into the countryside.
A little culture could not be missing either, so there was a short detour via the Roman tower for a breath of history. The route continued past the castle and church of Hofarnsdorf and through the Buchental. The best viewpoints proved to be the Rote Wand and the Hohe Stein. On they went to Maria Langegg, where after a visit to the pilgrimage church a well-earned lunch break was enjoyed at the Langeggerhof.
Finally the Aggstein ruins were explored, after which the Gottwald team tackled the last stage to Aggsbach Dorf.
The day came to a convivial close at the Gasthaus zur Wachau, run by the Zeller family in Hofarnsdorf, where the team had a final bite to eat before setting off home.
