Also this year, numerous students took advantage of the opportunity to complete a ferial internship with Gottwald in the summer months of July and August. In total we were able to welcome 19 interns. The majority – 15 of them – actively supported our teams on the construction sites at the Melk and Parndorf sites. We received further valuable support in purchasing, in the warehouse, in the electrical specialist market and in the IT department.
We would like to share with the possibility of Ferialjob at Gottwald in the summer We look forward to giving young people early insights into the world of work. At the same time, we are pleased to be able to make our family business palatable to them and introduce ourselves as a potential future employer. In the past, ferial internships have already resulted in long-term employment relationships after graduation from school.
Erik Haydn, Project Manager:
“I got to know the Gottwald company in 2007 through my compulsory internship at the HTL St. Pölten. I was able to get a taste of it on the assembly. After school, I started as an electrotechnical draftsman and have now been in the company for 15 years. The ferial internship made it easier for me to get started, as I already knew some colleagues.”
Mario Will, MSR programmer:
“My start at Gottwald was in 2004 with a compulsory internship on the construction site – shortly afterwards I was also allowed to get a taste of it as a technical draftsman. After HTL I started directly at Gottwald and later sniffed MSR air for the first time when we built our company headquarters – now I have been a programmer for more than 13 years. And all this started with an internship.”
We hope that we can give all interns a lot of knowledge and practical experience and look forward to a possible reunion. In addition to a summer internship, there is also the opportunity to spend trial days on our construction sites all year round – an uncomplicated opportunity to get to know the various activities in the field of electrical engineering.
According to the motto “The early bird catches the worm” We are already happy to accept applications for the summer internship 2026.
