Fourteen promising newcomers can look forward to an exciting four-year apprenticeship as an electrical technician. During that time our apprentices work in a wide variety of areas, on large and small industrial, commercial and private sites.
They are assured of training of the highest standard, the range of tasks to be learned is extremely broad, and a generous helping of fun and team spirit is guaranteed. We are especially pleased that this year we were able to build on our female talent further. Two ambitious young women are starting with us this year.
Apprentice week
The absolute highlight this year was once again the Gottwald apprentice week. It lets everyone get to know each other quickly through games and fun, and teaches the most important basics for a successful apprenticeship right at the start.
Newcomer battle
Entertaining group games aimed above all at one thing: teamwork!
From "all nine" (skittles played with your feet) to the marshmallow-eating contest, there was no shortage of fun!
Puzzle rally
The company site became a quiz zone. Armed with a puzzle card, our apprentices solved tasks from everyday working life in all sorts of departments.
Learning something new
Interactive talks on mental health, safety at work, finance and sustainability were on the programme.
Tool day
Not to be neglected under any circumstances: handling tools correctly.
Personal development training
A workshop day on the theme of "communication" with Marlene Riesenhuber, MSc, to equip our apprentices with important soft skills.
Mountain carts
"Up on the lift – down with a swing": the apprentice week comes to an action-packed close on the Gemeindealpe with apprentices from all four year groups.
Apprentice workshop
From autumn 2024 Gottwald's apprentices can look forward to a special new addition at the Melk site: the opening of an apprentice workshop. It takes apprentice training at the company to a new level. Across 180 m² of floor space, theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical engineering is taught, development areas are worked on and team spirit is strengthened. Our apprentices therefore learn faster how to work independently on projects and take on responsibility, and they shine at vocational school too.
True to the motto "the early bird catches the worm", we are happy to receive your application for an apprenticeship right now. Don't hesitate – get in touch today:
