More than 50 years have passed since the first ÖAMTC service centre opened in Melk. Now an innovative successor has been built: the ÖAMTC service centre in Melk has been reimagined, sustainably planned and built to be future-ready. Since May 2025, ÖAMTC members have been able to use all club services across some 1,000 m² under one modern, energy-efficient roof.
The new building excels not only functionally, but also ecologically: for the first time, the load-bearing structure is made entirely of timber; a photovoltaic system on the roof supplies the site with green electricity; and the brine-to-water heat pump provides heating and cooling. There is also a publicly accessible ÖAMTC ePower rapid charging station for electric cars.
We were privileged to support the project with sustainable and innovative infrastructure and were responsible for the electrical fit-out.
