On Wednesday 26 May 2021 Dr Weissenborn and his team vaccinated around 130 people connected with the company.
After the in-house testing station on the company grounds had been so well used over the previous four months, at the beginning of May we set about arranging a vaccination station for our employees. Within a few days it was up and running. Dr Kurt Weissenborn, supported by a qualified nurse and an administrative team, vaccinated 133 people with the Moderna vaccine. The second dose will follow 6 weeks after the first appointment. By the beginning of July a large part of the workforce will therefore be fully immunised.
“The vaccination lets us increase safety on our sites and in the offices. We are pleased that the offer was taken up so well and that we could make a small contribution to a return to normality,” says managing director Peter Gottwald, delighted.
Among those vaccinated there was relief at the freedom regained and at being protected against serious consequences of Covid.
