15 promising newcomers and their splendid start

|2 min read

This year again we are giving 15 young people the chance to enter working life and the fascinating field of electrical engineering. For the first time this year, apprenticeships were not awarded only for electrical technicians; we were also able to create ideal conditions for three training places as technical draughtspeople.

We are delighted that the Gottwald team has grown by 15 motivated minds and 30 willing hands.

During our Gottwald apprentice week, our newcomers had the chance to get to know each other better through games and fun, to understand the structures of the company and to learn the important foundations for a successful apprenticeship.

From the newcomer battle with entertaining group games and a puzzle rally across the whole company site, to health checks, personal development training and a tool day – the week was packed with great activities. As a crowning finale, our newcomers were allowed to jump into the cool waters of the Danube. There they had plenty of action on the rubber rings, played spikeball and built a campfire, before finishing with a barbecue together to round off an eventful week.

There are more impressions of our apprentice week here (swipe right to continue):

We had a great deal of fun with our promising new arrivals this week and would like to say once again: “Here's to a good start to your apprenticeship!”

Are you looking for a training place as an electrical technician, and does Gottwald appeal to you as an employer? Get in touch with us right away! You can start your apprenticeship with us all year round.
