At our workplace childcare, the Glühwürmchen (Fireflies), we do not just play and learn – we celebrate together too! And we do it with plenty of heart, creativity and a colourful programme.
On Wednesday 16 April the time had come again: our Easter children's party took place, bringing not only a springtime mood but a great deal of fun.
At 4 p.m. sharp our little guests gathered with their parents in the classroom, where we started the party with a cosy Easter cinema. With colourful pictures and funny stories about Easter, the ice was quickly broken.
Then it was out into the fresh air – and in glorious weather: the sun shone as brightly as the children, so nothing stood in the way of a colourful afternoon of games at the playground. Making an insect hotel called for a delicate touch! The children could also let their creativity run free painting Easter eggs. Another highlight: making Easter decorations from shrink plastic. The little works of art could of course be taken home.
One very special surprise guest could not be missing either: the Easter Bunny in person! 🐰 With little gift bags and plenty of good cheer, he strolled across the playground and posed for keepsake photos.
There was excellent food and drink too – a healthy, tasty snack kept young and old going in between.
A warm thank-you to our childminders Nadine and Kathi, who put the party together with so much enthusiasm and commitment! We are already looking forward to the next Firefly party – and until then we wish everyone a colourful spring! 🌷🥚✨
