A bright golden Märzen and its wonderful drinkability
The Gottwald Märzen, a new product in the Braustall range, is brewed with passion and care in Schrattenbruck, right next to Melk. This full-strength beer has an alcohol content of 5% and stands out for its excellent quality and its distinctive character.
Its bright golden colour recalls the grain that grows and thrives in the immediate surroundings. Thanks to its wonderfully drinkable taste and its strong malty aroma, the Gottwald beer is the perfect companion for any occasion . Whether with a hearty roast pork or a relaxed evening in good company, the Märzen always fits.
From pigsty to brewery
Since the beginning of 2023, various kinds of beer have been brewed at the Braustall. One particular mark of quality is that they are made from barley grown on the farm itself. Since mid-November 2023 the Gottwald beer, created especially for the company, has been part of the range too.
The Schrattenbruck house brewery Braustall is the result of a bold entrepreneurial story: Georg Schwameis turned his hobby into his profession and founded the brewery. True to the motto "from pigsty to brewery", his parents' former pig farm became a modern brewery. The one-time farmer and now brewer is no stranger to Gottwald either: the Gottwald Märzen grew out of a long-standing business relationship.
“With its new Gottwald beer, the Braustall convinced us from the very first sip,” says Bernd Gottwald. It is available from now on, for the foreseeable future – but only while stocks last – so best try it yourself!
