The health of our employees comes first for us. We are therefore constantly looking for effective, innovative ways to reduce physical strain.
One possible solution is the Hilti exoskeleton, which above all makes work above head and shoulder height easier. The weight of the arms is transferred to the hips via arm shells using a mechanical cable system. That reduces the strain on the muscles and shoulders many times over.
At a demonstration by Mr Schaumüller and his team, our managing director DI Jürgen Gottwald was able to slip straight into the exoskeleton and try the ergonomic solution out. The exoskeleton is currently being tested; the aim is to establish where it can best be used.
