When skiing meets wine and good food, only good can come of it! 23 Gottwald colleagues were able to see this for themselves on the skiing-and-eating day at the Hochkar.
On Saturday 1 April 2023 we set off for Göstling an der Ybbs just after 6 a.m. After a quick bite on the coach, and undeterred by the moderate weather, everyone set their thighs burning on the piste before heading for the first hut stop at around 11 a.m.
There the eating and drinking began with a tasting of Lower Austrian wines and regional specialities. With spirits already high, three musicians topped things off and had guests singing and dancing to mountain hut classics.
In all, three rustic alpine huts were visited and the time passed far too quickly. Packing up for the journey home was particularly hard this time, which makes us all the more excited about the Gottwald company ski day in 2024.
